Matthew Nicholson

Founder

Matthew’s personality and willingness to learn, jump-started his career in medicine. He worked as a sterile processing technician and shortly after, the Operating Room asked him to become a certified surgical/anesthesia technician. Surrounding his passion of being an entrepreneur and building on the relationships he gained while in the hospitals, he started Digital Medical. Matthew saw numerous issues in the medical industry, more importantly, the Operating Room environment. Digital Medical has successfully implemented software into the University of Maryland Medical System and Medstar Health and has built numerous websites and applications. Matthew earned a degree in Marketing with a minor in Biology in 2008. He lives in Annapolis, MD and enjoys staying active and helping others.

Paul Skidmore

Business Development / Marketing

Paul has been working in healthcare for the last 8 years with an emphasis in the medical device space. He is responsible for developing sales networks, generating marketing strategies and building business relationships to bring Digital Medical on a national scale. Paul received his education from Arizona State College with an emphasis in kinesiology, the scientific study of human or non-human body movement. He possesses the knowledge and skills required to help Digital Medical’s solutions change the way hospitals interact internally and with external vendors.

Tom Thomas

Channel Partner Director

Tom has been in Medical Device Sales and Sales Management for over 45 years, moving to that field after working 5 years with Procter & Gamble in Houston, San Antonio and Detroit. He went on to build influential sales organizations with U.S. Surgical, Biomet and Stryker Orthopaedics. As a Consultant to Digital Medical, Tom has recruited thought leaders from a wide variety of resources built over the years. He is currently working on expanding the Digital Medical footprint in both hospital and medical device markets.

John Pafford

Sales / Customer Success

John has been part of the healthcare field since 1994, climbing the ladder from intern to surgical technician. Eventually, he began working in medical device sales, providing solutions to critical-care markets. Understanding the need for better communication between surgical scheduling, vendor and hospital, and capital asset tracking and reporting, John joined Digital Medical in 2017. He helps harness and tailor healthcare technology to improve hospital economics through streamlining processes, offering enlightened reporting and forecasting, creating better staff and patient workflows, thus fostering a safer, more streamlined experience for Digital Medical’s ultimate customer, the patient.

Bryan Jones has worked as an operations manager under multiple entities for 10 years. His expertise is in computer systems operations, project management, content management and software QC, making him an integral part of the Digital Medical team. Bryan coordinates the activities of various departments concerned with the development, pricing, sales, and distribution of Digital Medical’s products & services.

Greg is a degreed Mechanical Engineer from the University of Missouri. His valuable experience in engineering, IoT startups and medical sales makes him a valuable asset to the Digital Medical team. He focuses on success with customers by providing product development, business processes, and implementation strategies. In his spare time, Greg enjoys spending time with his family and friends, focusing on his health and fitness and traveling.

Tomio has over 8 years of experience in project planning and development. He is the Director of Customer Success for Digital Medical and is responsible for operational functions, including growth and profitability. His experience also includes graphic and web design, playing an integral role in Digital Medical’s major functions.

Lead Designer / Customer Success

Mark was the lead designer and project manager for a graphic design firm that worked directly with the United States Naval Academy (USNA). Through this experience, he gained the graphic skills required for developing the maps and images that Digital Medical uses in their real-time tracking software. He also gained the project management skills that help him with implementation-task lists for each new client.
