Matthew’s entrepreneurial passion for business began as a student in college. As a track athlete, there was very little time to work so he started a car detailing business 11 years ago. During that time he had 3 full-time employees and built a book of business involving almost all the car dealerships in town and offering yearly subscription programs to clients.

Still in school, he successfully exited that business and began working in a hospital, and he started studying biology as well. Matthew’s personality and willingness to learn jump-started his career in medicine. He moved up as a sterile processing technician and shortly after, the Operating Room asked him to become a certified surgical / anesthesia technician.

After graduating college, he took a sales support job for a freight company to learn more about the sales process and reporting. A year later, he began working for Depuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson Company. Starting as an associate rep he quickly gained the trust of his hospitals and moved into a full-line sales rep position. He was named Rep of the Year in his first year in the territory, accelerating his medical device career.

Surrounding his passion of being an entrepreneur and building on the relationships he gained while in the hospitals, he started Digital Medical. Matthew saw numerous issues in the medical industry, more importantly, the Operating Room environment. Digital Medical has successfully implemented software into the University of Maryland Medical System and Medstar Health and has built numerous websites and applications.

Matthew earned a degree in Marketing with a minor in Biology in 2008. He lives in Annapolis, MD and enjoys staying active and helping others.

Bryan Jones has worked as an operations manager under multiple entities for 10 years. “He is a detail-oriented operations manager motivated to drive projects from start to finish as part of a dynamic team. Bryan has expertise in computer systems operations, project management, content management and software QC. He has experience working with engineers and UI professionals to meet deadlines and satisfy customer expectations.
He is familiar with successfully coordinating the activities of various departments concerned with the development, pricing, sales, and distribution of software products & services. He is comfortable working with people of all levels and having an excellent commercial approach to solving problems and developing business processes. Having proven people management skills, with the ability to manage performance and motivate staff on an individual and team level.

John entered healthcare in 1994 as a neuropsychology intern at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He progressed to the Trauma Resuscitation Unit as a trauma technician, then to the Operating Room as a surgical technician in 1997. John entered medical device sales in 1999 with Smith & Nephew Orthopedics as a full-line representative selling into the joint reconstruction and trauma markets. In 2003, John joined Integra Lifesciences providing solutions to the neurosurgery and neuro-critical care markets. Seeing a need for better communication between surgical scheduling, vendor and hospital, and capital asset tracking and reporting, John joined Digital Medical Tech in 2017.
